1.Solve Previous Year question papers:

SSC Repeats questions year after year, it is advisable to solve previous year question papers of SSC CGL Exams. Take at least 4 to 5 years question papers and you will find that more than 3-4 questions are repeated every year from the previous year papers.

In English section, the questions repeated are vocabulary-based such as One-Word Substitution, Idioms/phrases, Synonyms, Antonyms and some grammar rules based questions Correction of sentences etc. In Quantitative Aptitude Section, questions are repeated from the topics like Mensuration, Trigonometry, Geometry & Algebra.
These two sections are complex, therefore, if you practice from the previous year you will be able to perform well and get encouraging results.

2. Decode the pattern of General Awareness

Syllabus of General Awareness is vey vast and at times aspirants feel that they will not be able to cover the entire syllabus. In case you analyze the GK Section of previous year papers of SSC CGL Exam one can decode the pattern of questions being asked and the topics which is most of the time asked. 5. Must attempt Reading Comprehension

6.  Higher Maths is not essential

7. Learn Synonyms, Antonyms, One-Word Substitution & Idioms/phrases

Concentrate on building a strong vocabulary to improve word power. In SSC CGL Exam prepare topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, one-Word Substitution & Idioms/phrases. It is observed that Synonyms/Antonyms are repeated by SSC in Exam. Therefore, solve previous year papers which will help you to build the related words list which are repeatedly appearing in the exam year after year.
