In the month of November 2018, the official notifications of SSC CHSL Exam 2018-19 are expected. The aspirants of SSC CHSL start their exam preparation to qualify this exam in the first attempt. As there are millions of aspirants, SSC CHSL Exam 2018-19 becomes one of the most challenging exam for them.
Against all odds, many aspirants take the challenges negatively and start thinking pessimistically about the exam. Some of the myths that they come across while preparing for the SSC CHSL Exam, they are as follows:
  1. It cannot be qualified in the first attempt
Hard and dedication is the ultimate mantra for success. If aspirants work with full dedication and put in lot of hard work he or she can qualify SSC CHSL or any such exam in the first attempt. The syllabus is not difficult and is well read by the candidates for it being the fundamental part of their curriculum in school. Those who have studied well in the school or not yet they know the syllabus. It is not a HARD NUT TO CRACK for anyone. Keep working for the goal with hard work and dedication and you will definitely qualify it easily in the first attempt.
  1. It is mandatory to join coaching classes
Coaching classes are considered to be comprehensive source of knowledge. These coaching classes give guidance but it also needs sincerity, commitment and dedication of the aspirants towards studies. If aspirants are sincere, honest and hard working then there is no need for coaching classes. In case one is weak in the basics then one can join coaching institute to nurture the brain with basic concepts. It is important to wisely choose coaching centre by exploring the market extensively. Do talk to the students who are taking coaching classes and those who have qualified the exam by doing so.
  1. Only mid-night oil can save them from failures
It is just a myth for those who believe in it!!!!
I would rather say that sound sleep of eight hour is a must to refresh your brain to learn better. If one gives 5 to 6 sincere and devoted study hours to the exam preparation then there is no need to have sleepless nights to study. It is important to emphasis more on the quality of learning rather than counting hours devoted for the same. Secondly, do choose your comfortable study hours which can be in the morning or at night but those hours should be committed and dedicated without any distraction or disturbance.
  1. Candidates weak in English and Mathematics cannot crack the exam
There is nothing unattainable or impossible in this world. One can overcome the weak subjects by working more on them. To overcome weakness, hard work, constant effort and perseverance can do wonders. Keep up the good work towards your goal and you will accomplish your goals. Take extra coaching for the subjects like English and Mathematics in case these are your weaknesses and you will be able to learn it thoroughly. Take regular SSC  CHSL online test series specially topic tests of the subject and work hard on the weak topics. Revise them and take necessary doubt sessions to improve upon them.
  1. High cut-offs is a limiting factor for success
Cut off has significantly increased for the last few years but if one works in the right direction one will definitely succeed. To work progressively, it is important to know the syllabus well and then work routinely on the related topics rather than doing a random study. To score better than others, it is significant to understand the exam pattern so that you can attempt the exam at ease. Nowadays, almost all the exams are online and so follow the practice online by joining online test series rather than offline.
